On August 22nd, 2019 Russian Embassy in Jamaica held a reception for students and teachers of the first official Russian Language courses, which was organized in collaboration with the Department of modern languages and literatures of the University of West Indies (UWI) earlier this year.
Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Jamaica, H.E. V. Vinokurov welcomed the guests and wished them success in studying Russian language.
The students thanked both UWI and the Embassy for organizing the courses and supported the idea of continuing this educational program at UWI.
